Our Officers
WPSS Incentive Program
WPSS’s Elite security officers are professionally trained to protect our clients, their properties, and people. Our officers are committed to maintaining a safe environment so that people around can carry on with their day-to-day life feeling secure.
Some of the qualities that define our security officers are Smart, Passionate, Disciplined, Engaging, Customer-oriented, and experts in their fields. Apart from this, we allow our security officers to continuously go through training at various levels so that they groom themselves and professionally promote and represent our exceptional culture.
We have a very stringent recruitment process of hiring security officers. We have set very high benchmarks for our hiring process, and only officers who meet up with the standards of these benchmarks are considered for the recruitment process. Every officer undergoes an in-depth background check and intensive defense security service training by certified instructors. We train our officers for exceptional customer service.
WPSS incentive program is an initiative to encourage and motivate every single Security officer employed by WPSS.
We believe in providing a rewarding career for all our security officers. This is to ensure that our security officers provide high-quality services to all our clients and exceed their expectations.
Every quarter, we select one highest-performing candidate from each client account where our security teams have been appointed.
All those candidates are invited to our quarterly meetings and rewarded with a certificate of excellence, gift vouchers, financial bonus, and other rewards.
Our criteria for selection will be based on various factors like attendance (regularity & punctuality), Client relationship, leadership, response time, external and internal communication, performance on duty, etc.
We rate our security officers based on each of the attributes. The officer with the highest rating is rewarded every quarter.
On going Training
Most of the training companies will hire a security officer who has obtained a class D license and directly send them on field job without any additional training. At WPSS, every security officer must obtain a Class D security license before joining our agency.
Once we hire a security officer, before sending an officer to the site we provide them additional training for technology usage and customer service. Each officer receives a training session for a total of 40 hours before being sent to a field job. Also, our training is tailor-made to suit the type of security job being allocated to them
We focus upon two main areas for training security officers, they are; Technological and Hospitality training.
Technological Training
Technology is an essential part of the corporate security world. It’s a must for security officers these days to interact efficiently and effectively. Old style pen and pencil way of working have been replaced by mobile devices and computer systems that provide real-time communication and response. Now security officers may be equipped with software-enabled PDAs, which can then be networked wirelessly with a command-center module and used to capture incidents, send pictures, record time-and-attendance of officers, plot GPS coordinates of their locations, and officer tours.
Hence, we make sure that all our security officers are tech-savvy and are comfortable with all the equipment and gadgets that they may be required to operate while on duty.
Hospitality Training
We understand it is very important to have great customer service skills for any security officer. These skills include listening, communicating, and problem-solving. Hence, we have a special course specially designed to sharpen the customer service skills of security officers. This includes teaching them basic protocols to handle phone calls, body language, tone of voice, positive attitude, maintaining discipline, and overall behavior towards any kind of customer.
Monthly On-Going Training/Refresher Training
At WPSS, the importance of ensuring every officer undergoes proper training cannot be overemphasized, as we know it equips them with the right skills, knowledge, and credibility of professionalism when carrying out tasks, and relating with clients.
We also do have a clear understanding of the fact that our officers are humans and that they can tend to forget one or two things from what they are taught during respective training programs, and that’s why we have refresher training carried out monthly for every one of them.
With this continuous training, we can keep everyone on the same page at all times. Even after security officers are on the job, they are all continuously provided with these refresher training courses to keep them updated on various attributes including:
- Public relation/Customer Service
