WESS provides training programs and workshops that are specifically designed for employees, leaders, and managers of your organization to train and teach them on various aspects of corporate security.
These training programs are not included in our security service contract and are conducted by industry experts who have a background in criminal justice, homeland security, federal and private investigations, and the health and safety department.
First Responder Training
We understand the importance of first responders in emergencies. An employee with professional first responder training can provide much needed first aid level care/CPR which can help in reducing casualties in case of emergencies.
To address the needs, we have designed a course specifically to teach the employees of the organization about basic first aid, CPR, and automated external defibrillator (AED). Additional training is provided for leaders on incident management.
Disaster Planning
Our training course on disaster planning and management is to teach employees how to deal with workplace disasters and other emergencies.
This course will help your employees to identify different types of workplace disasters, understand the requirements of the emergency response plan, carry out emergency response assignments effectively, and evacuate quickly and safely in an emergency.

Fire is the most common disaster that could occur at the workplace. Our training program will teach your employees about the do’s and don’ts in the event of a fire, evacuation planning strategy, and the importance of conducting regular fire drills.
Natural disasters such as earthquakes and tornadoes can strike with little or no warning. Hurricanes and floods may be forecast, but effective emergency action in these situations may nevertheless, be required.
Terrorist attacks and bomb threats are increasingly becoming high potential threats to security. It’s very important to train the employees on how to deal with such unfortunate incidents.
Another area of concern and a possible threat for any corporate is workplace violence. We provide your employees with various security lessons to increase their awareness about workplace violence. Although, workplace violence is an internal threat and it can be best dealt with by giving employees proper training and also educating them about their roles and responsibilities in such situations.
Our training program covers some very important points which include:
- Educating your employees about workplace violence and how it can happen. E.g., there can be various scenarios for workplace violence including terrorism, active shooter, sexual harassment.
- Preparing a proper response plan by analyzing the past incidents, assessing the potential for violence, and assessing the current preparedness to deal with such situations.

Conducting internal investigations has to be carried out very strategically and carefully. There are certain defined processes and protocols that need to be followed. We train our security officers to pay attention to detail and gather every minute detail while carrying out investigations. Our training includes on:

This is something that many security organizations don’t cover under their security services, but we know how important financial safety is for any organization. Our training program includes giving a historical overview of previous committed corporate thefts and frauds, and how a security officer can help in combating various forms of fraud involving check, cash, credit, time clock, compensation, etc.
